Volkswagen Celebrates Four Years of Virtus with Limited Anniversary Edition at ₹19.19 Lakh

Volkswagen India has launched the Virtus Anniversary Edition to celebrate four years of the premium sedan in the country. Based on the GT Plus Sport variant, the limited-run special edition introduces an exclusive Avocado Pearl paint finish and a host of cosmetic upgrades. It is priced at ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and is now available at Volkswagen dealerships across India.

Exclusive styling updates

The biggest highlight of the Anniversary Edition is the debut of the new Avocado Pearl exterior colour, paired with a contrasting black roof and black alloy wheels, giving the Virtus a sportier appearance.

Volkswagen is also offering genuine accessories for both the Virtus and Taigun through its dealerships, including:

  • 360-degree camera system
  • Front parking sensors
  • Puddle lamps

GT Plus Sport features retained

The Anniversary Edition carries forward all the features available on the Virtus GT Plus Sport.

Key highlights include:

  • 20.32 cm Digital Cockpit
  • Electric sunroof
  • Laser Red ambient lighting
  • Aluminium pedals
  • Auto headlights
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Auto-dimming IRVM

On the safety front, the Virtus comes equipped with six airbags as standard, a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, and more than 40 safety features.

1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine

Powering the Virtus Anniversary Edition is the familiar 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbo-petrol engine producing 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, depending on the variant.

The Volkswagen Virtus Anniversary Edition is priced at ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in limited numbers across Volkswagen dealerships in India.
