Volkswagen is set to introduce the updated Virtus in India, bringing a refreshed design to its premium sedan. The new model will build on the existing Virtus’ strengths while adding a contemporary visual identity.
Since its launch in June 2022, the Virtus has established itself in the segment with its distinctive styling, German engineering, driving dynamics and focus on safety. Volkswagen says the updated model will retain these qualities while introducing a fresh design expression.
The refreshed design draws inspiration from triangular geometry, bringing together precision, balance and dynamism. The changes are aimed at giving the sedan a more contemporary appearance while retaining its familiar character.
Volkswagen has highlighted the following aspects of the updated model:
As per Nitin Kohli, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, the updated Virtus will build on the sedan’s established position in the market while retaining the qualities that have made it popular among customers.
The company has also emphasised the Virtus’ appeal beyond its role as a family sedan, highlighting its combination of driving pleasure, individuality and premium ownership experience.
