2025 Indian Scout Lineup Debuts in India: Eight Models & New Engines

Indian Motorcycle has launched the all-new 2025 Scout lineup in India, offering eight different models, three trim levels, and over 100 accessories. The new Scout range starts at just ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making this iconic American cruiser more accessible to Indian riders than ever before.

New Engines and Performance

At the heart of the 2025 Scout is the new SpeedPlus 1250 engine—a liquid-cooled V-Twin that delivers 105 HP and 109 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox for smooth and powerful rides. Select entry-level models use the reintroduced 999cc SpeedPlus engine, offering 85 HP and 87 Nm of torque with a five-speed transmission, making the Scout family more affordable without losing performance.

Rider-Focused Design

The new Scout is built for comfort and control, with a low 680 mm seat height, lightweight chassis, and balanced geometry. Standard ABS is included on all models, and some versions offer advanced features like Traction Control and selectable Ride Modes.

Technology and Customization

Indian Motorcycle offers three technology trim levels:

  • Standard: ABS, LED lighting, analogue gauge with fuel level and economy readouts.
  • Limited: Adds traction control, cruise control, USB charger, and three ride modes (Sport, Standard, Tour).
  • Limited +Tech: Adds a 101 mm touchscreen with navigation, ride stats, bike health, keyless ignition, and more.

Model Highlights

  • Scout Bobber: Aggressive, blacked-out look with solo seat and low stance.
  • Sport Scout: Moto-style handlebars, quarter fairing, and 19-inch front wheel for a sporty ride.
  • Scout Classic: Chrome, classic fenders, wire wheels, and relaxed ergonomics.
  • Super Scout: Built for touring with saddlebags, windshield, and passenger seat.
  • 101 Scout: Top performance with premium suspension, dual Brembo brakes, and exclusive styling.
