Toyota has updated the Innova Crysta for 2026, with prices now starting at Rs 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom).

While the changes are relatively minor, this could be the final update for the popular MPV before Toyota reportedly retires it in 2027. The tried-and-tested diesel engine and manual gearbox remain unchanged.

Key Highlights

  •  Prices start at Rs 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom)
  •  Costs up to Rs 83,000 more than before
  •  Gets subtle exterior and interior updates
  •  New wireless charger and TPMS added
  •  Continues with the 2.4-litre diesel engine
  •  Expected to be the final major update before discontinuation

Revised Pricing

The updated Innova Crysta is available in four trims:

  • GX: ₹19.72 lakh (7-seater), ₹19.77 lakh (8-seater)
  • GX+: ₹21.15 lakh (7-seater), ₹21.20 lakh (8-seater)
  • VX: ₹24.93 lakh (7-seater), ₹24.98 lakh (8-seater)
  • ZX: ₹26.63 lakh (7-seater only)

Depending on the variant, prices have increased by between Rs 32,000 and Rs 83,000.

What’s New?

Most changes are subtle but noticeable. Toyota has revised the front grille and chrome bumper garnishes, while the rear bumper also gets updated detailing.

Inside, the cabin receives a new dual-tone upholstery theme along with copper-finished accents on the steering wheel and door trims. Toyota has also added a wireless charger on VX and ZX variants, while the top-spec ZX now gets a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Still the Practical Family Favourite

The Crysta continues to excel where it always has. The spacious cabin, comfortable second-row seating and proven reliability remain major strengths.

Depending on the variant, buyers can also get features such as automatic climate control, cruise control, an 8-way powered driver’s seat and up to seven airbags.

Engine Specifications

  • Engine: 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel
  • Power: 150 hp
  • Torque: 343 Nm
  • Gearbox: 5-speed manual
  • Drive modes: Eco and Power

Final Take

The 2026 Innova Crysta doesn’t reinvent the formula, but it doesn’t need to. Toyota has simply refreshed a proven package with a few extra features and cosmetic tweaks. If reports of its discontinuation next year prove true, this update serves as a fitting send-off for one of India’s most successful MPVs.
