Aston Martin has proudly announced the return of one of its most iconic and legendary model: The Vanquish. This supercar will be launched in India at a starting price of ₹8.85 crores (ex-showroom) without any additional options. The Vanquish combines stunning supercar performance with a level of refinement and elegance that is expected from the prestigious Aston Martin brand. With its return, the Vanquish continues to represent the ultimate in luxury and performance.
The Vanquish features a world-class V12 engine, a bespoke chassis, and a lightweight carbon fiber body. It is designed to deliver an unparalleled driving experience while maintaining an aura of exclusivity. Aston Martin plans to produce fewer than 1,000 units of the Vanquish each year, ensuring that it remains a rare and highly sought-after vehicle, available only to a select few buyers around the world.
Under the hood, the Vanquish is powered by a new 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that generates an incredible 835 horsepower (PS) and 1000Nm of torque. This engine sets a new benchmark for supercar performance, providing immense acceleration and a top speed of 214 mph, making it the fastest Aston Martin production car ever. The car’s performance is further enhanced by a renowned ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox and an electronic rear limited-slip differential (e-diff), which helps manage traction in all driving conditions for optimal performance.
The Vanquish also continues Aston Martin’s long history with the V12 engine. This journey began in 1998 with the Project Vantage, a concept car that previewed the design of the first-generation Vanquish. A year after the Project Vantage was revealed, Aston Martin launched the DB7 Vantage, the first car in the brand’s history to feature a V12 engine. The DB7 Vantage was well-received, with both coupe and convertible versions, and it laid the foundation for the eventual arrival of the Vanquish in 2001.
Over the years, the Vanquish has undergone several upgrades, improving both performance and luxury features. In 2004, the Vanquish S was introduced with a more powerful 520bhp engine, and it achieved speeds of up to 200 mph. This version of the Vanquish further solidified its place in Aston Martin’s history, with over 2,500 units sold during its production run. The return of the Vanquish represents the continuation of Aston Martin’s commitment to creating iconic supercars that blend performance, design, and luxury.
