Aprilia has secretively discontinued multiple scooters in India, including the Aprilia SR 160, Aprilia SXR 125, and Aprilia SXR 160.
Interestingly, the company never officially announced the move.
While the SR 160 is gone, Aprilia has already replaced it with the newer Aprilia SR 175.

The SR 175 feels like a natural upgrade over the SR 160, especially with the stronger engine and updated tech. But the discontinuation of the SXR range leaves a gap for buyers looking for a sporty maxi-scooter in India, and for now, Aprilia does not seem to have a replacement ready.
