BMW India has launched the updated 7 Series range in India with petrol and electric powertrains. The range includes the 740 M Sport, i7 50 xDrive M Sport and i7 M70 xDrive, with prices starting at ₹1.95 crore.
The new i7 is also being built locally in India, making the country only the second market after Germany to produce the electric 7 Series.
Bookings are open, with deliveries starting in October 2026.
The 7 Series gets a more upright and imposing design, led by BMW’s Iconic Glow Kidney Grille and crystal headlights with Swarovski elements.
The M Sport version gets 20-inch wheels and sportier bumpers, while the i7 M70 gets darker grille lighting, black exterior details, M badges, and 21-inch M wheels.
The biggest changes are inside. BMW’s new Panoramic iDrive system combines a 17.9-inch central screen with BMW Panoramic Vision and a 3D Head-Up Display.
Other highlights include:
BMW offers three very different powertrain options. The 740 gets a petrol engine, while the two i7 variants use electric power.
