BMW Motorrad has reached a major achievement in India by selling over 1,000 units of its high-performance sports bike, the BMW S 1000 RR. It has become one of the most loved superbikes among Indian speed enthusiasts and this achievment really proves it.
Since its debut, the BMW S 1000 RR has gained a strong following in India for its track-ready performance, sharp styling, and precision engineering. Riders across the country have embraced it for both road and racing thrills.
Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, expressed pride in this achievement and he stated that, The S 1000 RR is more than just a superbike — it’s a symbol of precision and pure performance. This milestone shows just how much Indian riders love its unmatched power, agility, and excitement.
The 1,000th customer, Mr. Varun Yadav from Delhi, received his bike at a special ceremony held by BMW Motorrad India. The handover was done by Mr. Shardenduu Chaturvedi, Director of BMW Motorrad India, and Mr. Manish Gupta, Dealer Principal at Lutyens Motorrad. Friends, family, and members of the BMW riding community were present to celebrate the moment.
Launched earlier this year at Auto Expo 2025, the latest generation of the S 1000 RR takes performance up a notch. It’s designed with motorsport DNA and loaded with features aimed at both racetrack and road use:
Whether you’re chasing lap times or cruising highways, the S 1000 RR delivers a balanced mix of power, control, and advanced tech, making it a top choice in India’s superbike scene.
