BRABUS P 900 Rocket Edition: 900hp G-Class Pickup Unveiled

BRABUS has unveiled the new P 900 Rocket Edition, a high-performance pickup based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63. It combines the G-Class’s rugged design with a custom cargo bed, a powerful V8 engine, and a luxurious cabin. Production will be limited to just 10 units worldwide.

900hp Twin-Turbo V8

The pickup gets a heavily upgraded 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 900hp and 1,250Nm of torque. To protect the drivetrain, torque is electronically limited to 1,050Nm while driving.

Key performance figures include:

  • Power: 900hp
  • Torque: 1,250Nm
  • 0-100km/h: 3.7 seconds
  • Top speed: 280km/h
  • Transmission: Nine-speed automatic
  • Drivetrain: Permanent all-wheel drive

A G-Class with a Pickup Bed

The P 900 Rocket Edition measures 5.38 metres in length and gets a specially developed cargo bed. BRABUS has extended the wheelbase by 500mm to make room for the new rear section.

Other exterior highlights include:

  • Carbon-fibre widebody kit
  • 24-inch Monoblock II EVO wheels with carbon-fibre aeroblades
  • Teak-finished cargo bed with red BRABUS lettering
  • Two lockable, waterproof storage boxes
  • Adjustable coilover suspension, lowering the vehicle by around 45mm

A Sporty, Custom-Made Interior

The cabin features black leather and Alcantara upholstery, red stitching and carbon-fibre trim. Red accents across the dashboard and controls add contrast, while a dedicated rear display provides information such as vehicle speed, engine rpm and outside temperature.

The exhaust system also gets electronically controlled valves, allowing the driver to choose between a louder Sport mode and a quieter Coming Home mode.

Final Take

The BRABUS P 900 Rocket Edition turns the already distinctive G-Class into an even more extreme machine, pairing supercar-like acceleration with a usable cargo bed and a hand-finished luxury cabin. Its limited production and extensive customisation make it a collector’s vehicle as much as a high-performance pickup.
