Citroen India has expanded its portfolio with new variants of the AircrossX and BasaltX, while also introducing an enhanced-range version of the e-C3X.
The updates bring more powertrain choices to the two ICE models, while the e-C3X EXTENDED now offers a claimed 330 km certified range. All three additions are available across Citroen dealerships from September 7, 2026.
Citroen has introduced new variants aimed at buyers looking for different combinations of performance and comfort.
The new YOU Turbo variants bring turbocharged petrol engines to a more accessible price point. In contrast, the MAX Naturally Aspirated variants allow buyers to opt for Citroen’s higher-end comfort and convenience features with a naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Citroen says the expanded range is designed to cater to buyers with different priorities, including family versatility, comfort and stronger everyday performance.
The biggest update to Citroen’s electric offering is the e-C3X EXTENDED.
The updated model now offers a claimed 330 km MIDC-certified range, thanks to improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and using energy more effectively.
Citroen is also offering the model with its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, with prices starting from ₹6.99 lakh, plus a battery EMI of ₹2.26 per kilometre.

This update is less about introducing entirely new cars and more about giving buyers more ways to enter the Citroen lineup.
By adding more accessible turbo variants, naturally aspirated options, and a longer-range EV, Citroen is trying to cover a wider range of buyers without changing its core products.
