Defender is on the lookout for people with an unstoppable spirit of adventure. The brand has launched the Defender Trophy, a new global competition inspired by the legendary Trophy and Challenge events of the past. This time, it’s not just about adventure—it’s about creating a lasting legacy with a meaningful conservation mission.
The Defender Trophy will take participants through three tough stages of training and competition. It’s open to individuals from over 50 countries who are ready to embrace the impossible and contribute to global conservation efforts.
For decades, Defender has been the trusted vehicle of explorers and adventurers. Now, it’s inviting a new generation to take part. Local selection rounds will start this summer, followed by national finals next spring. The winners will advance to the global final in Africa in 2026, held in partnership with Tusk, Defender’s long-term conservation ally.
The global winners will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition that combines adventure with real-world impact, supporting conservation efforts and leaving a positive legacy wherever they go.
Defender 110 Trophy Edition: Built for Adventure
To mark this unique competition, Defender has unveiled the Defender 110 Trophy Edition. This special model represents a fresh chapter in Defender’s adventure story. Available in two exclusive heritage-inspired colours—Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green—the Trophy Edition is packed with features made for serious expeditions.
The vehicle includes:
Gloss Black 20-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires
Black skid plates, scuff plates, and wheelarch protection
Special Trophy badges and graphics inside and out
Ebony Windsor leather seats offering both toughness and luxury
Optional off-road gear like roof racks, deployable ladders, gear carriers, mud flaps, and raised air intake for challenging environments
