Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has launched its new Eicher Pro Plus Series, aiming to change the game in India’s Light and Medium Duty (LMD) trucking segment. With this launch, Eicher shows its commitment to providing high-performance, connected, and sustainable trucks for India’s fast-changing logistics needs.
The new Pro Plus Series builds on the trusted Eicher Pro Series and brings several improvements and upgrades. The trucks now come with a factory-fitted, air-conditioned, ergonomic cabin for better driver comfort. Eicher has also improved payload capacity, fuel efficiency, and added smart connectivity features. These upgrades help customers earn more per trip, reduce the need for after-market changes, and make fleet management easier.
Mr. Vishal Mathur, EVP of Light & Medium Duty Trucks at VECV, said that Eicher’s focus on fuel efficiency, uptime, and digitalization helps customers run profitable and sustainable businesses. He explained that the new Plus range is designed for both city and long-distance transport, offering a mix of performance, comfort, and innovation.
All trucks in the Pro Plus Series now have intelligent air conditioning that adjusts cooling as needed and saves fuel by turning off during idling. These trucks are designed to boost business productivity and make life easier for drivers.
With the Pro Plus Series, Eicher moves beyond just making trucks. The company now offers complete solutions with fuel choices, smart technology, and reliable performance for India’s growing logistics sector.
