Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has hit a major milestone — completing 25 years in India! To celebrate this big moment, the company launched two brand-new bikes: the Honda CB125 Hornet and the Honda Shine 100 DX.
These new bikes reflect Honda’s focus on modern technology, youth appeal, and customer needs. Starting 2025 August 1 st, bookings for both models will open across India.
The Honda CB125 Hornet is designed especially for young urban riders who love speed, style, and smart features. With sharp looks, all-LED lights, and bold color combos, this bike makes a statement on the road.
It features golden USD front forks (a first in its segment), a stylish split seat, and a smart TFT display with Bluetooth and Honda RoadSync app support for navigation, calls, and music.
Its 124 kg lightweight body houses a 123.94cc engine, producing 8.2 kW of power and 11.2 Nm torque. It can go from 0–60 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, making it one of the fastest in its class.
It also has a USB Type-C charger, single-channel ABS, petal disc brakes, and tubeless tyres, ensuring a fun yet safe ride.

Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, MD & CEO, HMSI, said this 25-year celebration is a proud moment. Launching two bikes at once shows Honda’s commitment to innovation and Indian customers. He also mentioned Honda achieving a global 500 million production and HMSI crossing the 70 million mark in India.
Mr. Yogesh Mathur, Sales & Marketing Director, added that the new bikes are built to match the lifestyle and needs of today’s youth and everyday riders. While the CB125 Hornet is a “rizz-ready” sporty commuter, the Shine 100 DX keeps it “solid” and practical.
