Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced a major safety milestone with the all-new Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line. Achieved a 5-star safety rating from the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP). This result shows the Venue is a benchmark for safety in the competitive compact SUV segment in India.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways recognised the achievement. Noting that the rating reflects a commitment to making advanced safety technologies accessible to a broader market segment.
The Venue and its performance-oriented sibling, the Venue N Line. Demonstrated high levels of protection for both adult and child occupants during BNCAP’s testing protocols.
Hyundai has equipped the new Venue range with over 65 advanced safety features. 33 of which are provided as standard across all variants. A key highlight is the integration of Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS. This includes a suite of 21 intelligent features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.

Since its recent launch, the all-new Venue has seen significant market traction, surpassing 1 lakh bookings. The 5-star BNCAP rating adds to a growing list of accolades for the model. It has already received multiple “Compact SUV of the Year” awards from leading automotive publications.
According to Hyundai leadership, this achievement reinforces the brand’s “Safety for All” initiative. It ensures that high-tier protective technology is available to a wider range of customers in the Indian market.
