Maruti Suzuki is making huge impacts in car safety now a days. Their all-new Dzire sedan has just received a groundbreaking 5-star safety rating from the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP), making it the first sedan in India to achieve this top honor.
The All-New Dzire was recognized with its impressive 5-star rating by Shri Nitin Gadkari, India’s Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. Alongside this achievement, the New Age Baleno also performed very well, earning an impressive 4-star safety rating in the same tests.
Beyond these excellent ratings, Maruti Suzuki is truly committed in making all their cars safer. The company announced that all of its passenger vehicles sold in India will come with 6 airbags as standard within this year. This is definitely a major step for a mass-market carmaker.
Currently, 10 Maruti Suzuki models already offer 6 airbags as a standard feature. These include popular cars like the Alto K10, Celerio, WagonR, Eeco, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Grand Vitara, Jimny, and Invicto.
Additionally, Maruti Suzuki is ahead of the curve by offering Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) as a standard feature across all variants and all models, which is the widest range in the country to do so. ESP helps drivers maintain control of the vehicle in tricky situations.
Both the All-New Dzire and New Age Baleno are built on Suzuki’s advanced 5th-generation HEARTECT platform, which is designed for strong crash protection. They are also packed with various active and passive safety features to protect everyone inside.
Key safety features in both models include:
These features ensure that both the Dzire and Baleno offer strong protection and peace of mind for drivers and passengers.
