“India’s Popular Car has become more safer”

Maruti Suzuki has added 6 airbags to the WagonR. Earlier, it came with only 2 front airbags, but now it includes front-side and curtain airbags too. Maruti Suzuki has been updating the smallest of its small cars with new standard features.

Apart from these airbags other safety features like Hill Hold Assist, front fog lamps, and auto door lock are also available (but not standard). This is indeed a Big safety upgrade for a popular small family car.

Maruti Suzuki offers the WagonR in four variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The features offered in the car differ slightly depending on the variant, engine, and transmission you choose.

On the outside, the WagonR comes with features like 14-inch alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, and dual-tone paint options for a stylish look. Inside, it includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a four-speaker sound system, steering-mounted controls for audio and voice, and a dual-tone interior for a fresh and modern appeal.

Towards the Powetrain Side, customers can choose between Petrol-Only or Petrol-CNG dual-fuel options.

• The 1.0-litre K10C petrol engine makes 66 hp power and 89 Nm of torque.
• The 1.2-litre K12C petrol engine offers 88 hp power and 113 Nm of torque.

Both engines come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, but there’s also an option for a 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission) for those who prefer an automatic-like experience. With the new safety updates the WagonR will be daring than ever.
