Jeep has showcased the performance capabilities of the all-electric Compass 4xe in the third episode of its Jeep Capability Stories series. Filmed in snowy Arjeplog, Sweden, the video demonstrates the SUV’s handling on snow-covered roads and a test track, highlighting its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.

The range-topping Compass 4xe produces 375hp, accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds, and offers a claimed WLTP range of up to 606km. Orders are open across Europe, although pricing has not been specified in the announcement.
Dual-Motor AWD and Performance
The Compass 4xe uses two electric motors, with the front motor producing 210hp and the rear delivering 177hp. The rear motor generates 232Nm of base torque and the front motor produces 345Nm.
The powertrain is paired with a 96.1kWh battery, with a claimed range of up to 606km on the WLTP cycle.
Five Selec-Terrain Driving Modes
The electric SUV gets Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system with five modes:
- Auto: Adjusts vehicle responses to the driving conditions.
- Sport: Delivers peak power, overboost, and sportier steering calibration.
- Sand & Mud: Tailors traction for loose and muddy surfaces.
- Snow: Adjusts responses for slippery conditions.
- 4WD Lock: Keeps the all-wheel-drive system engaged.
In Sport mode, AWD remains active up to 140km/h, with torque distribution biased towards the rear axle. Jeep says the traction control also permits greater rear-wheel slip while retaining electronic safety systems.
