Kawasaki’s best selling entry-level bike is now to be sold for ₹2.89 (ex-showroom)lakh. A significant discount from its initial ₹3.17 lakh (ex-showroom) price tag.
The Ninja 300 is powered by a 296 cc parallel-twin-liquid cooled engine that puts out 39 hp and 26.1 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Though the price seems attractive as this model is the country’s most affordable twin cylinder bike from an established brand, there’s a catch.
The ₹28,000 discount is available only for MY2024 Ninja 300 bikes. And the offer expires until February 28, 2026.
The MY2024 specific models aren’t offered with the newer colour schemes and halogen bulbs to be used instead of projector headlights that are used in the latest model. However, the exterior and mechanics stay the same as the latest one.
The Ninja 300 stands as a direct rival for the KTM RC 390. The Ninja 300 MY2024 is ₹34,000 cheaper than the KTM and offers a twin-cylinder engine unlike the RC 390 which comes with a single-cylinder engine.
Kawasaki is a popular Japanese brand among bikers and enthusiasts, with the Ninja series being the most sold Kawasaki from the 300 cc iteration to the 998 cc ZX-10 R. The discount could result in a favourable amount of new customers to get acquainted with Kawasaki.
