Off-road enthusiasts are in for a thrilling weekend as Kerala Adventure Trophy (KAT) Season 7 heads to Ezhumvayal, Pannapura, Payyannur, from April 24 to 26. The event brings together off-roaders from across Kerala and different parts of India for three days of intense competition, challenging tracks and pure motorsport action.

Hosted by Kerala Motorsports Society in partnership with Rajasthan Motors, the championship has become a major fixture in Kerala’s off-roading scene. Drivers and machines take on specially designed obstacle courses that test skill, control and endurance, while competing for top honours and prizes.
Adding to the spectacle is the machinery on display. From heavily modified Maruti Gypsys, Maruti Suzuki Jimnys and Mahindra Thars to capable builds. The event features some of the country’s most serious off-road machines. Many arrive with extensive modifications, lifted suspensions, mud-terrain tyres, winches, and custom-built recovery setups, all pushed to their limits on the course.
This year’s edition is especially significant as the event is dedicated to legendary Indian motorsport icon Hari Singh, paying tribute to his immense contribution to the sport following his recent passing.
Beyond the competition, the event draws motorsport fans, adventure lovers and families looking to experience the excitement up close, absolutely free of cost. With powerful machines clawing through mud, tackling steep climbs and navigating technical obstacles, the championship offers as much spectacle as sport.
As engines fire up in Payyannur, Kerala Adventure Trophy Season 7 promises another big celebration of off-roading fuelled by adrenaline, unity and a fitting tribute to a motorsport legend.
