Kia India has announced the appointment of Mr. Atul Sood as its new Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, effective July 11, 2025. He will report to Mr. Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, and will be responsible for leading the company’s sales strategy and nationwide operations.
Mr. Sood brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the Indian automotive industry, with a strong track record in business growth, dealer network development, and customer-focused innovations. Before joining Kia, he was President and Director at Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India (TMSS), where he played a key role in launching and expanding Toyota’s certified pre-owned car outlets across India.
He has also held key positions at Toyota Kirloskar Motors and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific, contributing significantly to Toyota’s growth in the region. Mr. Sood holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from SCMHRD, Pune, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
