Lexus has announced a major update for customers in India, introducing an 8-year / 200,000 km warranty for all new vehicles sold from April 1, 2026.
With this, Lexus says it has become the first luxury carmaker in India to offer such warranty coverage.
The updated warranty applies across the entire Lexus range in India and comes at no additional cost.
Key highlights:
The move is aimed at strengthening long-term ownership confidence, especially in the luxury segment, where after-sales support matters as much as the product itself.
Lexus says the update is part of its broader focus on improving the ownership experience, something the brand has emphasised in India since it entered the market in 2017.

Alongside the new warranty announcement, Lexus currently sells a focused but premium range in India, spanning sedans, SUVs and MPVs. Current ex-showroom prices start from around ₹62.65 lakh and go up to ₹2.91 crore.
Current lineup includes:
This may not be a product launch, but it is still a significant move. A longer warranty may not grab headlines like a new car does, but for owners, it can matter just as much. And in that sense, this could be one of Lexus India’s more meaningful announcements.
