Maserati Unveils the Stunning New MCPURA Supercar at Goodwood 2025

Maserati has taken the wraps off its latest masterpiece, the “MCPURA” at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. Handcrafted in Modena, Italy, the MCPURA is a bold evolution of the MC20 and represents Maserati’s purest expression of performance, design, and Italian craftsmanship.

Carrying forward the spirit of the MC20, the MCPURA refines everything, from design and materials to interior finishes – while keeping the powerful 630 hp V6 Nettuno engine at its core. This iconic engine, developed entirely in-house, is known for its Formula 1-inspired technology and thrilling performance.

The Exterior of the MCPURA is finished in a new “Ai Aqua Rainbow” color, a unique shade that shifts and shimmers in sunlight like a prism. It’s available in both coupe and convertible (“Cielo”) versions – matte for the coupe and glossy for the convertible. The car’s detailing, including the iconic Trident logo and alloy wheels, features a deep magenta-blue tone that adds to its dramatic flair.

Inside, the MCPURA blends futuristic style with sporty elegance. The Alcantara Ice seats are laser-etched with 3D Trident graphics, giving a high-end and technical vibe. The cabin also uses dual-toned iridescent highlights and subtle finishes that mirror the bold exterior colors.

Key Features of the MCPURA:

  • Carbon-fibre monocoque chassis: Lightweight and rigid, keeping the weight under 1,500 kg.
  • V6 Nettuno engine: 630 hp, 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds, with an industry-leading 2.33 kg/hp ratio.
  • Butterfly doors: Signature supercar doors that swing upward for easy entry and a show-stopping look.
  • Convertible version (“Cielo”): Features a unique glass roof that turns from opaque to transparent in just one second.

Maserati’s Fuoriserie program allows owners to customize their MCPURA with a choice of 30+ paint finishes — including standout shades like Devil Orange, Verde Royale, and Night Interaction — all designed to reflect Italian luxury and performance heritage.

The MCPURA is proudly built at Maserati’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena, where both the car and the legendary Nettuno engine are handcrafted. It’s the same facility producing the MC20 GT2 Stradale and the upcoming GranTurismo and GranCabrio models.
