Maserati Unveils Updated GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale Range

Maserati has revealed updated versions of the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale, introducing revised styling, more powerful V6 engines, and improved electric driving range across its Folgore models. The updates arrive during a landmark year for the Italian marque as it celebrates 100 years of the iconic Trident logo.

The refreshed lineup focuses on design, performance, and technology while reinforcing Maserati’s position in the global luxury segment.

GranTurismo and GranCabrio Get More Power

The biggest mechanical change comes under the bonnet of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo.

Maserati has increased the output of its Nettuno V6 engine to 590hp, making it 40hp more powerful than before.

GranTurismo and GranCabrio highlights:

  • 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6
  • Up to 590hp in Trofeo guise
  • 650Nm of torque
  • Top speed exceeding 320kph
  • Standard AWD
  • Adaptive air suspension
  • New Sportivo exhaust system

The range also continues to include the all-electric Folgore versions.

Folgore highlights:

  • 760hp electric powertrain
  • Three-motor setup
  • Torque vectoring
  • 92.5kWh battery pack
  • Over 540km range
  • GranTurismo Folgore top speed: 325kph
  • GranCabrio Folgore top speed: 290kph

Sharper Design Inside and Out

Maserati has redesigned the front end of both models with a more aggressive look inspired by the MCXtrema and GT2 Stradale.

Exterior updates include:

  • New front bumper design
  • Revised air intakes
  • Larger aerodynamic elements
  • New clear-lens tail lamps
  • Optional Tridente alloy wheels
  • Seven new exterior colours

Inside, Maserati has introduced:

  • New flat-top and flat-bottom steering wheel
  • Updated digital clock
  • Revised PRND controls
  • New upholstery options
  • Enhanced digital interface
  • Driver fatigue monitoring system

Grecale Gets A New V6 Option

The Grecale SUV also receives a significant update, including a new 390hp V6 engine derived from Maserati’s Nettuno powerplant.

Grecale powertrain lineup:

  • 250hp mild-hybrid
  • 330hp mild-hybrid
  • 390hp V6
  • 530hp Trofeo V6
  • 550hp Folgore EV

The Grecale Trofeo remains the performance flagship, capable of sprinting from 0-100kph in just 3.8 seconds.

More Range for Folgore

Maserati has also improved the efficiency of the Grecale Folgore.

Key upgrades include:

  • New Air Grille Shutter System
  • Revised aerodynamic package
  • Improved energy management software
  • Up to 580km claimed range

Depending on the wheel size, Maserati says range gains can be up to 53km over the previous model.

Final Take

Rather than reinventing its lineup, Maserati has focused on refining what already works. More power for the Nettuno V6, improved electric range, updated technology, and sharper styling help keep the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale competitive in an increasingly crowded luxury segment. More importantly, the updates ensure Maserati continues to blend Italian design, performance, and exclusivity in a way few rivals can match.
