Mercedes-Maybach has revealed the new SL 680 Monogram Series, its first-ever two-seater roadster and the sportiest Maybach yet. This ultra-luxury convertible will arrive at U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2025, starting at $224,900.
The SL 680 Monogram Series comes in two special design themes: “White Ambience” and “Red Ambience.”
The exterior stands out with an illuminated Maybach grille, rose-gold and chrome accents, 21-inch forged wheels, and a soft top with a unique Maybach pattern. The rear has Maybach-logo taillights, a chrome-accented bumper, and aerodynamic scoops.
Inside, the car features sustainably tanned Crystal White Nappa leather, covering the seats, doors, and center console. The digital displays have Maybach-specific animations and themes. Other luxury touches include a Maybach steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, illuminated door sills, and a luggage shelf with floral designs.
The SL 680 Monogram Series is powered by a handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, producing 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about 4 seconds. The car uses a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive for strong performance and safety. Features like active hydraulic roll stabilization and rear-axle steering make the car agile and comfortable. Drivers can choose from four drive modes: Comfort, Maybach, Sport, and Individual.
The roadster offers extensive sound insulation, an acoustic soft top, and a custom exhaust system for a quiet, smooth ride. Standard features include multicontour seats, dual digital displays, surround view system, advanced driver assistance, and more.
With its blend of luxury, performance, and exclusive design, the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series sets a new standard for open-top driving.
