Mahindra & Mahindra has officially expanded its Thar ROXX portfolio with the launch of a new aesthetic-focused variant, the Thar ROXX STAR EDN. Positioning it as a premium addition to the existing range, the manufacturer has introduced several bespoke design elements to both the exterior and interior while maintaining the mechanical specifications of the standard model.
The Thar ROXX STAR EDN is launched with an introductory starting price of ₹16.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
The STAR EDN distinguishes itself primarily by its dark theme and a new signature colour. Key exterior changes include a Piano Black front grille and matching Piano Black R19 alloy wheels, replacing the standard finishes to provide a more sophisticated fascia.
A new hero colour, Citrine Yellow, makes its debut with this edition. Buyers can also opt for existing shades, including Tango Red, Everest White, and Stealth Black.
Inside the cabin, the primary update is the introduction of all-black leatherette seats featuring suede accents, a shift from the lighter interiors seen in other variants. The cabin maintains its feature-rich environment, including:
The STAR EDN is offered exclusively with a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) system. It continues to utilize Mahindra’s established mStallion and mHawk engine families.
