No.1 Again! Hyundai Creta Becomes India’s Best Selling Car in June 2025

Hyundai Motor India has announced that the Creta has become the highest-selling car in India for June 2025, with 15,786 units sold in just one month. This achievement makes it not just the best-selling SUV, but also the top-selling car overall for the month. This is indeed a proud moment for Hyundai Motor India.

The success is even more special as it comes at a time when the Creta is celebrating its 10th anniversary in India. Since its launch in 2015, the Creta has been a customer favourite. It has been winning the title of India’s best-selling mid-size SUV every single year. In the first half of 2025 alone, Creta topped the sales charts in March, April, and now June.

Speaking on the milestone, Mr. Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, stated that Creta is more than just a car – it’s an emotion for over 1.2 million Indian families. He also added that, its journey over the past 10 years shows the deep trust Indian customers have placed in the brand.

Over the last decade, the Creta has become a trusted partner for both city driving and long trips, combining technology, safety, style and comfort. The success of this Model has even shaped the mid-size SUV category, which is now often referred to as the ‘Creta segment’.
