In a move that blends innovation with convenience, Oben Electric, one of India’s leading homegrown electric motorcycle companies, has announced that its popular city e-bike, Rorr EZ, is now available on Amazon. This marks a major step in making EVs more accessible, especially for young, first-time buyers who prefer shopping online rather than showroom visit.
With this launch, Oben is tapping into the power of e-commerce to reach a wider audience. The Rorr EZ can now be booked directly on Amazon, starting at ₹1,19,999 for the 3.4 kWh variant and ₹1,29,999 for the 4.4 kWh model, both prices inclusive of a limited-time ₹20,000 discount.
According to Madhumita Agrawal, Founder & CEO of Oben Electric stated that, this move is all about adapting to changing buying habits. People are now buying everything online, including vehicles. By making Rorr EZ available on Amazon, we’re meeting customers where they already are and removing the barriers to EV ownership.
The Rorr EZ is built specifically for daily city use. It delivers both performance and practicality, with a top speed of 95 km/h, a quick 0 to 40 km/h sprint in 3.3 seconds, and an impressive range of up to 175 km on a full charge. The e-bike runs on Oben’s in-house developed LFP battery which is known for long life, safety, and great performance in Indian road and weather conditions.
Riders also get a bunch of smart features like:
To boost customer confidence, Oben Electric is also offering an optional Protect 8/80 plan, which gives 8 years or 80,000 km of battery warranty for just ₹9,999. This warranty is also fully transferable, making it valuable even if you sell your bike.
Oben Electric plans to expand to over 150 showrooms in 50+ cities across India by the end of the financial year. Each showroom will come with a dedicated service center, ensuring smooth support for customers.
This Amazon launch is not just about selling online – it’s about redefining how Indians discover and adopt electric vehicles. Oben’s aim is clear: to make electric mobility not just practical, but also aspirational and convenient.
