Kia has attained one of the auto industry’s most prestigious honours, as the EV3 has been crowned the 2025 World Car of the Year at the World Car Awards. The Award Ceremony was held during the 2025 New York International Auto Show.

The award was announced live at the event, where the EV3 emerged as the overall winner, earning immense praise for its innovative design, advanced technology, and practical features. This marks Kia’s sixth win at the World Car Awards since 2020. This definitely showcases the brand’s growing impact in the global automotive space.

Kia President and CEO Ho Sung Song expressed pride over the win, stating that the award highlights Kia’s position as a global leader in sustainable, design-focused, and tech-driven mobility solutions. The 2025 World Car Awards were decided by a panel of 96 leading Automotive Journalists from 30 different countries, who evaluated vehicles across several key performance and design metrics.
