2026 Porsche Taycan Black Edition: A Stylish New Look

Porsche has introduced a new special version of its all-electric Taycan called the Black Edition. This new variant focuses on style, premium features, and comfort without compromising the Taycan’s signature performance.

The Black Edition is available on the Taycan, Taycan 4, and Taycan 4S models. Despite the name, it’s not limited to just black paint, buyers can choose from no-cost “Shades” color options like Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Ice Grey Metallic. For those wanting something more unique, Porsche also offers custom paint options from its “Legends,” “Dreams,” or “Paint to Sample” programs at an extra cost.

The Black Edition bundles together several popular optional features as standard. These include:

SportDesign Package with high-gloss black details on the mirrors and trim
21-inch alloy wheels with full-color Porsche crests
HD-Matrix LED headlights for better visibility
Performance Battery Plus (105 kWh), offering extended range

With this larger battery pack, the estimated driving range according to the EPA is:

318 miles for the base Taycan (rear-wheel drive)
294 miles for the Taycan 4
