Range Rover SV Black: The Darkest, Most Luxurious Edition Yet

In 2025, Range Rover is redefining its luxury SUV experience with the introduction of the Range Rover SV Black, a bold new addition to the Range Rover SV line-up, which already includes the SV Serenity and SV Intrepid variants. Each version offers its own take on modern luxury, but SV Black takes it to an entirely new level with an all-black, stealth-inspired design that’s both dramatic and refined.

The SV Black will be available for order by late 2025, in both standard and long wheelbase versions. It will be powered by a 606 bhp, V8 engine that delivers effortless performance and quiet sophistication.

This is Range Rover at its most elegant and powerful form. The exterior gets a deep, glossy Narvik Black finish — including the grille, lettering, and 23 -inch alloy wheels. Even the brake calipers are done in black with dark branding, creating a bold and commanding presence on the road.

Inside, the mood continues with rich Ebony near-aniline leather, soft black birch veneers, and satin black ceramic detailing on key elements like the gear shifter. The seats feature a new single-panel design, with fewer seams for a more luxurious, tailored look. Every stitch, surface, and finish has been carefully crafted for a clean, high-end feel.

The SV range isn’t just about looks — it’s also packed with groundbreaking in-car technology aimed at wellness and audio experience. Range Rover is introducing a world-first feature called Sensory Floor, which combines with its advanced Body and Soul Seats (BASS) to create an experience you can feel as much as hear.

Through haptic feedback built into the seat and floor, passengers can physically sense the music and even choose from six wellness modes like “Calm” or “Invigorating.” These modes are designed to reduce stress, improve focus, and elevate comfort on the move. The system is powered by AI and integrated with the high-end Meridian Signature Surround Sound System.

The Range Rover SV Black will be previewed at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, from 10–13 July 2025, alongside the new Range Rover Sport SV Black.
