Redefining Luxury! MG Opens First MG SELECT Experience Centre in Thane

JSW MG Motor India has taken a bold step in redefining premium automotive retail by launching MG SELECT, a new-age luxury experience centre in the country. The first of these exclusive centres has just opened in Thane, Maharashtra.

Built on the philosophy of ‘Reimagining Luxury’, MG SELECT aims to offer a unique car buying experience – one that combines high-end design, personalized services, cutting-edge technology, and sustainability. These centers are designed to offer a sensorial, gallery-like atmosphere, where the spotlight is firmly on the car as a piece of art.

Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, stated that, Luxury consumption is growing rapidly in India. With MG SELECT, we want to elevate the experience of car ownership and build a distinct space for luxury buyers. It’s not just about the cars, it’s about crafting unforgettable experiences around them.

MG SELECT showrooms use minimalist and earthy design elements, blending infinite white spaces and fluid architecture to create an environment that feels modern, calm, and immersive. The aim is to move away from traditional dealership formats and offer something more curated and personal.

By the end of Q3 2025, JSW MG Motor India plans to open 14 MG SELECT centres across 13 major Indian cities. Two standout models — the MG Cyberster, the brand’s fastest car yet, and the ultra-luxurious MG M9 Presidential Limousine — will be showcased at these experience centres, offering auto enthusiasts a close look at MG’s finest innovations.

JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture between SAIC Motor, a global Fortune 500 auto giant, and JSW Group, one of India’s most prominent industrial conglomerates. Formed in 2023, the venture focuses on building a smart, sustainable automotive ecosystem in India. With strong emphasis on local manufacturing, job creation, and world-class technology, JSW MG aims to offer futuristic vehicles that are accessible, advanced, and aligned with the evolving needs of Indian consumers.
