Rolls-Royce Unveils Spectre Series II with More Range, More Power and New Bespoke Options

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the new Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II, bringing a host of updates to its all-electric luxury coupe.

The refreshed model offers more power, improved range, faster charging, and an even wider range of personalisation options, while retaining the elegant design that has made the Spectre one of Rolls-Royce’s most successful modern models.

More Range and Faster Charging

One of the biggest updates comes under the skin. Thanks to improvements in battery technology, the Spectre Series II can now travel up to 628 km (WLTP) on a single charge, representing an increase of up to 18 per cent over the previous model.

Charging has also been improved:

  • Up to 628 km WLTP range
  • DC fast charging (10-80%): 28 minutes
  • Up to 14 per cent faster charging times
  • Battery capacity: 112.4 kWh

Black Badge Becomes the Most Powerful Rolls-Royce Ever

The updated Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II now claims the title of the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built.

Black Badge Spectre Series II

  • Power: 670 hp
  • Torque: 1,100 Nm
  • 0-100 km/h: 4.3 seconds

Standard Spectre Series II

  • Power: 592 hp
  • Torque: 1,015 Nm
  • 0-100 km/h: 4.5 seconds

Even More Bespoke Possibilities

Rolls-Royce says Spectre has become one of its most popular models for bespoke commissions, second only to the Rolls-Royce Phantom. To cater to this demand, the company has introduced new customisation options, including:

  • New Duality Twill bamboo-based fabric
  • New Placed Perforation leather designs
  • Illuminated fascia with over 8,000 light elements
  • New aviation-inspired clock design
  • New Ethereal Blue exterior finish

Black Badge models also receive a new Iced Black exterior detailing package and exclusive wheel designs.

A Daily-Driven Rolls-Royce

Interestingly, Rolls-Royce says many owners use the Spectre far more frequently than expected. Some customers have already covered over 50,000 km in just two years, with many treating the electric coupe as a daily driver rather than a weekend luxury car.

The company says this real-world usage played a key role in shaping the updates introduced with Series II.

New Spirited Mode

The company has also introduced a new Spirited Mode, designed to unlock the Spectre’s full performance potential. Activated via a steering-wheel-mounted button, the mode sharpens throttle response and delivers the car’s maximum power output, giving drivers instant access to the electric coupe’s immense performance expected from a Rolls-Royce.

It serves as the brand’s answer to a traditional launch or boost mode, but executed in a distinctly Rolls-Royce manner.

Final Take

Rather than reinventing the Spectre, Rolls-Royce has focused on refining it. More range, more power, and an expanded palette of bespoke options ensure the Spectre Series II remains one of the most luxurious and technologically advanced electric cars on sale today.
