Bajaj Auto has launched the new Bajaj Avenger 220 Street at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new variant joins the Avenger lineup as a more urban-focused alternative to the Avenger 220 Cruise, carrying a premium of just Rs 1,200.
While both motorcycles share the same engine and basic underpinnings, the 220 Street gets a few key changes aimed at improving practicality and giving it a sportier look.
Key Highlights
One of the biggest upgrades is the switch to tubeless tyres, making puncture repairs easier and improving everyday usability compared to the wire-spoke wheels on the 220 Cruise.
Power comes from the same 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that powers the Avenger 220 Cruise.

The approachable 737 mm seat height remains unchanged, making the motorcycle accessible to a wide range of riders.

With alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and a cleaner blacked-out design, the new Avenger 220 Street offers a slightly more practical and modern take on Bajaj’s long-running cruiser.
