Royal Enfield continued its growth momentum in August 2026, selling 1,26,479 motorcycles, an 11 percent increase compared to 1,14,002 units sold in August last year.
Domestic sales accounted for the majority of the volume, while exports also recorded steady growth. The company’s year-to-date performance remains strong, with total sales growing 23 percent between April and August.
Sales performance
Royal Enfield sold 1,14,204 motorcycles in India during August, up 11 percent year-on-year. Exports stood at 12,275 units, marking a 10 percent increase.
For the April-August period of FY2026-27, the company sold 5,75,138 motorcycles, compared to 4,67,575 units during the same period last year.

New products and brand activity
August also saw Royal Enfield expand its product portfolio. The company launched the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India and Nepal, inspired by the Gorkha Regiment and finished in a distinctive Gorkha Green colour.
The Continental GT 650 received a series of updates, including LED trafficators, a USB Type-C charging port and cosmetic changes.
Beyond motorcycles, Royal Enfield continued its community-led initiatives with HunterHood in Kochi and its largest-ever GRRR Nights event in Mumbai.
Internationally, the company introduced and showcased several motorcycles across Brazil and Southeast Asia, while also announcing its first Moto Mongolia riding event.
