Simple Energy has launched the new Wave electric scooter in India, positioning it as a practical, family-oriented offering. With prices starting at ₹1,09,999 (ex-showroom), the Wave becomes the brand’s most accessible electric scooter yet.
The biggest talking point is its focus on everyday usability. The scooter offers a massive 70-litre underseat storage capacity, claimed to be the largest in its segment, along with additional storage spaces for smaller essentials.
The Simple Wave is offered in multiple battery configurations, allowing buyers to choose based on their range requirements.
Higher variants get a 7-inch TFT display, while lower variants feature a 7-inch LCD console. Connected features include smartphone connectivity, navigation, music controls, and call and SMS alerts.
The Wave also comes with features such as:
The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels and uses telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum setup with CBS.

The Simple Wave takes a different route from performance-focused electric scooters. Instead, it bets heavily on range, storage and everyday practicality. With up to 243 km of claimed range and segment-leading storage, it could appeal strongly to families and commuters looking for a versatile electric scooter.
