Skoda Epiq Debuts as Brand’s Most Affordable Electric SUV

Skoda Auto has officially unveiled the all-new Epiq, introducing the company’s latest:

  • Modern Solid design language
  • New MEB + platform
  • Affordable electric SUV strategy

The Epiq made its global debut during the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Zurich, Switzerland, and became Skoda’s most affordable EV so far.

New Design Language and Better Aerodynamics

The Epiq gets a completely fresh design featuring:

  • Glossy Tech-Deck Face
  • T-shaped LED lighting signature
  • Vertical bumper elements
  • Distinctive roof rails

Skoda says the SUV focuses heavily on aerodynamic efficiency with:

  • Active cooling shutters
  • Air Curtain channels
  • Flat floor design

helping the Epiq achieve a drag coefficient of 0.275.

Spacious Interior with Sustainable Materials

Inside, the Epiq gets a minimalist cabin with:

  • 13-inch Android-based infotainment display
  • Recycled textile upholstery
  • Techtona leather alternative materials
  • Ambient lighting on higher variants

Despite its compact dimensions, the SUV offers:

  • 475 litres of boot space
  • 25-litre front trunk
  • 28.1 litres of cabin storage space

Three Battery and Motor Options

The Epiq will be available with:

  • 113 hp motor
  • 132 hp motor
  • 207 hp motor

The top-spec version gets:

  • 55 kWh battery pack
  • Around 440 km range

while the smaller battery versions offer approximately 310 km range.

Skoda claims the larger battery can charge from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes.

Smart Features and Bidirectional Charging

The Epiq also introduces:

  • Bidirectional charging support
  • Travel Assist 3.0
  • Junction Assist safety system
  • Smartphone-based controls via the MySkoda app

The SUV can even supply electricity to homes and external devices using V2L and V2H charging support.

First Edition Details

Skoda will also offer a special: Epiq First Edition featuring:

  • Navajo Orange accents
  • Black roof
  • 20-inch alloy wheels
  • Orange interior detailing
  • Sports steering wheel
