Steelbird Helmets has launched a new helmet called SXE, which brings a major safety upgrade for motorcyclists in India. It’s the first helmet in the country to feature Advanced Impact Protection Technology, offering better safety, comfort, and modern style for today’s riders.
The SXE helmet is made from a tough ABS shell with advanced fibre reinforcement, and comes with a multi-layer liner system designed to protect the head better during accidents. It reduces rotational impact by 20%, helping lower the risk of brain injuries in high-speed crashes.
It meets dual safety standards — India’s BIS IS 4151:2015 and the DOT FMVSS 218 standard from the USA — giving it international recognition for safety.
Built for long rides and fast speeds, the aerodynamic design of the SXE reduces wind resistance and rider fatigue. It has a smart ventilation system with intake and exhaust vents to keep the head cool and comfortable. The interior uses breathable, hypoallergenic padding that stays fresh and hygienic, even during sweaty rides.
The helmet also comes with sound insulation, reducing wind and road noise for a quieter ride.
SXE features a micrometric buckle system for quick and secure fastening, plus reflective fabric around the neck to improve visibility at night.
