Tata Aeris Launched in India at ₹5.29 Lakh, Gets Petrol and iCNG Options

TATA.CARS has launched the Aeris, which is essentially the Tata Tigor with a refreshed design and a new name, aimed specifically at private buyers. Prices start at ₹5.29 lakh for petrol and ₹6.29 lakh for iCNG, with both powertrains available with manual and AMT options.

Unlike the Tigor, which also catered to fleet customers, the Aeris is being positioned exclusively as a personal car. Bookings are now open across Tata.CARS dealerships in India, with deliveries set to begin shortly.

Designed for Private Buyers

The Aeris has been developed around the needs of personal and family users, with a focus on design, comfort, technology and safety.

Key features include:

  • Signature LED headlamps and DRLs
  • Infinity Connected LED tail lamps
  • Diamond-cut aero alloy wheels
  • Dual-tone black roof
  • 419-litre boot
  • AeroLux ventilated leatherette seats
  • 26.03cm HD touchscreen and 12.7cm digital cluster
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Wireless charging and 65W Type-C chargers

The sedan also gets a first-in-segment Dual Smartphone Deck, iRA connected technology with more than 35 features, and rear AC vents.

Petrol and iCNG Powertrains

The Aeris is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, available with a 5-speed manual and AMT. The iCNG version is offered with both manual and AMT transmissions, with twin-cylinder technology aimed at improving packaging.
