Tata Motors Expands its Footprint Across Kerala with Strong Retail and EV Presence

Tata Motors has built a strong presence in Kerala, making the state one of its key markets in South India. Along with a growing range of SUVs and electric vehicles, the company has also expanded its dealership, service and EV network across the state.

Strong sales and service network

Tata Motors sells its passenger vehicles through dealer partners such as Sree Gokulam Motors, Luxon Motors and TVS Automobiles. Together, they have a presence across major cities including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod.

The company also has a strong after-sales network with 83 authorised passenger vehicle workshops across 62 cities in Kerala. These are supported by more than 1,200 service bays, helping customers access faster service and better support.

Dedicated EV experience

Kerala is one of Tata Motors’ strongest EV markets, and the company has invested heavily in dedicated EV retail.

It currently operates five TATA.ev exclusive showrooms across the state. These outlets offer dedicated EV consultants, charging facilities and specialised service support.

The EV showrooms at Edappally and Kalamassery in Kochi are among the highlights. The Edappally outlet is also the largest TATA.ev showroom in India, reflecting Kerala’s importance in Tata Motors’ EV plans.

New special editions

Tata Motors has also expanded its lineup with several new special editions. These include the Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition, which celebrates the return of the iconic Sierra nameplate, the Nexon Camo Edition with its distinctive military-inspired styling, and the Punch HBX Edition, which gives the popular micro-SUV a fresh design and added features.

Combined with a steady stream of new products, the company is well placed to strengthen its position further as demand for SUVs and electric vehicles continues to grow.
