Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) has announced a price hike of up to 1.5 per cent across its passenger vehicle portfolio, effective July 1, 2026. The increase will apply to both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) models.

Price Hike Confirmed Across Line-up
The revision will affect Tata Motors’ entire passenger vehicle range, including hatchbacks, SUVs, and electric vehicles. However, the extent of the increase will vary depending on the model and variant.
Key Highlights:
- Prices to increase by up to 1.5 per cent
- Effective from July 1, 2026
- Applies to both ICE and EV models
- Increase will vary across models and variants
Rising Costs Behind the Change
According to Tata Motors, the price adjustment is being implemented to partially offset rising input costs and continued inflationary pressures impacting the automotive industry.
The company stated that it has been absorbing a significant portion of these additional costs but will now pass on part of the burden to customers through a marginal price increase.
Entire Portfolio to be Affected
The price revision is expected to impact Tata Motors’ full passenger vehicle line-up, including popular models such as the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier, and Safari. The company’s growing EV portfolio will also see revised prices from July.
Despite the increase, Tata Motors says it remains committed to maintaining the overall value proposition of its products.

Buyers Have Until June 30
Customers planning to purchase a Tata vehicle can still do so at current prices until June 30, before the revised pricing comes into effect on July 1.
The move follows a wider industry trend, with several manufacturers adjusting prices in response to increasing raw material, logistics, and manufacturing costs.
