The Beast Unleashed! Tata Launched Harrier EV in India

Tata Motors has officially launched the all-new Harrier EV in India, with introductory prices starting at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This electric SUV was first shown in its final production form at the Auto Expo 2025, and it stays true to the concept model. Bookings for the electric SUV will open on 2nd July. Performance & Range:

The Harrier EV is available with two battery options – 75kWh and 65kWh.

  • The larger battery comes with dual motors (AWD), while the smaller one has a single motor (FWD).
  • It delivers up to 390 bhp and 504 Nm of torque, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.
  • The claimed driving range is up to 627 km on a full charge.

Design & Variants:

The Tata Harrier EV stands out from its diesel counterpart with a fresh look. It features redesigned front and rear bumpers, a sleek, closed-off front grille, and new dual-tone aerodynamic alloy wheels that enhance both style and efficiency.

It comes in four colour options:

  • Nainital Nocturne
  • Empowered Oxide
  • Pure Grey
  • Pristine White

There’s also a special Stealth Edition, the first of its kind for Tata EVs.

Tata calls its variants Personas, and the Harrier EV comes in:

  • Adventure
  • Fearless
  • Empowered

Interior & Features:

Inside the cabin, the Harrier EV offers a tech-rich and premium experience. It includes a large 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. The SUV also comes with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats that remember your preferred settings. Rear seat passengers enjoy added comfort with soft headrests, and the ‘Boss mode’ allows the front passenger seat to be adjusted from the rear for extra legroom.

Off-Road & Driving Tech:

  • AWD system (called QWD by Tata)
  • 5 terrain modes: Sand, Rock-Crawl, Mud Ruts, Custom, and Normal
  • Summon Mode: lets you move the car remotely using the key
  • Drive modes for different conditions

  • Six airbags
  • Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
  • Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)
  • Blind spot monitoring and more
