India’s Most Favourite MPV, the Toyota Innova HyCross has achieved a full 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash safety tests, making it one of the safest cars on Indian roads today. It performed impressively in both adult and child occupant protection categories, the results are amazing.
In adult safety, the HyCross scored 30.47 out of 32, while in child safety, it earned 45 out of 49. These outstanding results put the HyCross among the top-rated vehicles tested under India’s safety program so far.
A key factor behind this strong performance is Toyota’s TNGA-C modular platform, which provides solid structural strength and crash protection. The tested variants included the Petrol GX (8-seater) and the Hybrid VX (8-seater) and ZX (7-seater) models.
