TVS has launched its newest electric scooter, the Orbiter, priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, including PM e-Drive scheme). The Orbiter is now the most affordable electric scooter in TVS’s lineup, sitting below the iQube.
The TVS Orbiter comes with a single 3.1kWh battery pack and claims an IDC range of 158 km. In real-world conditions, riders can expect around 120 km per charge, based on previous TVS range claims and tests.
The Orbiter stands out with a 14-inch front wheel and a 12-inch rear wheel, which should give it better stability and a unique look. The scooter has a minimalist, boxy design with a large single side panel, a handlebar-mounted LED headlamp, and a RoboCop-style LED light strip across the front apron.
The Orbiter offers a large 34-litre underseat storage space, enough for two helmets, and a spacious 290mm flat floorboard for extra comfort and convenience.
The TVS Orbiter is available in six color options. With its practical features and family-friendly design, it competes with scooters like the Ather Rizta.
