Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle startup, has taken a very big step towards global expansion by entering the UK market. The Indian Brand has partnered with MotoMondo, a well-known European distributor, to handle the import and sales of its products in both the United Kingdom and the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg).
This move marks Ultraviolette’s first foray into Europe, as the brand looks to establish itself in mature and competitive Global Markets. The first model to be launched in this region is the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon, a premium electric motorcycle designed for performance and Long-Range riding.
The Electric Bike features a 10.3 kWh battery pack and offers a claimed range of up to 323 km on a single charge. These are pretty good figures for an electric bike in its class. To attract early adopters, the company is offering the F77 Mach 2 Recon at a special introductory price of £8,499 (approximately ₹9.66 lakh) for those who pre-book by June 30, 2025. After the offer ends, the bike will retail at £9,399 (roughly ₹10.68 lakh).
Commenting on the launch, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, expressed excitement about entering new markets. He said that the partnership with MotoMondo is a crucial milestone in Ultraviolette’s Global Journey. He also highlighted MotoMondo’s strong track record in growing premium motorcycle brands across Europe, making them an ideal partner for Ultraviolette’s international ambitions.
With this launch, Ultraviolette becomes one of the few Indian EV brands to tap into the European market, signaling its confidence in both its product and vision for Global Growth.
