Volkswagen to Host First Performance Track Day in Coimbatore

Volkswagen India is set to host its first VWe Track Day on October 10-11, 2026, at CoASTT in Coimbatore. The new experiential programme is aimed at bringing Volkswagen owners and driving enthusiasts together through track experiences, driver development and community activities.

The two-day event will bring together owners of Volkswagen’s performance-focused models, along with enthusiasts, media and Volkswagen leadership, in a professionally managed environment.

Performance on Track

The event will feature a range of driving activities designed for different experience levels, including:

• Lead-and-follow sessions
• Autocross challenges
• Slalom exercises
• Off-road obstacle courses
• Go-karting
• Vehicle handling demonstrations
• Professional driving instruction

The sessions will focus on understanding vehicle dynamics while promoting safe and responsible driving.

Volkswagen Performance Community

Owners of the Golf GTI, Tiguan R-Line, Tayron R-Line, Virtus GT and Taigun GT will be part of the inaugural event.
