India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has launched the new 2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 in India under its popular ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign. The updated street-naked motorcycle is available in two variants, at starting price of Rs. 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Let’s checkout the major upgrades that Yamaha has given to this 2025 version.
The 2025 MT-15 Version 2 DLX gets a major technology boost with a new color TFT display that offers Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Riders can now use Bluetooth connectivity through Yamaha’s upgraded Y-Connect Mobile App, which provides features like Maintenance Recommendations, Parking Location, Fuel Consumption, Malfunction Alerts, Revs Dashboard, and a unique Rider Ranking system.
Yamaha has introduced two new youthful and urban color options for the MT-15 Version 2 DLX: Ice Storm (a popular global MT Series shade, now in India) and Vivid Violet Metallic, along with the existing Metallic Black. The standard variant also gets a bold new Metallic Silver Cyan, adding to the bike’s dynamic street presence.
The 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 155cc fuel-injected engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), producing 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. It features a 6-speed gearbox with Assist & Slipper Clutch for smooth shifting and reduced wheel hop during aggressive downshifts. The Traction Control System further enhances rider confidence on different road surfaces.
The bike’s MotoGP-inspired aluminium swingarm, patented Delta Box frame, and lightweight 141 kg mass provide excellent stability, agility, and control, especially during cornering and braking.
Mr. Itaru Otani, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, said, “The 2025 update reflects our commitment to meeting customer expectations—with advanced features and new youthful colors that enhance both visual appeal and rider engagement. Yamaha continues to deliver motorcycles that resonate with young, dynamic riders seeking a balance of thrill and practicality.”
MT-15 Version 2.0 STD: Rs. 1,69,550
MT-15 Version 2.0 DLX: Rs. 1,80,500
With these updates, the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 continues to set the standard in the street-naked segment, blending performance, technology, and style for today’s riders.
