Yamaha has expanded its electric two-wheeler lineup in India with the launch of the Aerox E, priced at ₹2.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The sporty electric scooter becomes Yamaha’s second EV for the Indian market after the EC-06, carrying forward the familiar Aerox 155 styling with an all-electric powertrain.
Powering the Aerox E is a 12.6 hp electric motor, delivering a claimed top speed of 95.5kmph.
The scooter is equipped with two removable 1.5kWh battery packs, offering a claimed IDC range of 117km on a full charge.
