Range Rover has opened orders in India for its first-ever fully electric SUV, marking a major new chapter for the luxury brand. Built at JLR’s Solihull facility in the UK, the Range Rover Electric promises to retain the refinement, luxury and all-terrain capability the nameplate is known for.

The Range Rover Electric uses a twin-motor setup and an 800V electrical architecture, delivering strong performance along with long-distance capability.

The SUV also gets single-pedal driving, twin-chamber air suspension and a lower centre of gravity. It retains an impressive 900mm water-wading capability.

The Range Rover Electric focuses heavily on refinement and convenience, with electric power expected to make the already quiet cabin even more serene.
