BYD has unveiled the ATTO 8 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, introducing a new premium electric SUV with seven seats, up to 653 km of WLTP range and ultra-fast FLASH Charging technology. The model is scheduled to go on sale across European markets in the first quarter of 2027.

Large SUV with a Premium Design
Measuring 5,040 mm in length, the ATTO 8 features a sculpted front bumper, slim daytime running lights and matrix LED headlights. At the rear, infinity-knot-shaped tail lamps and a backlit BYD logo define its styling, while aerodynamic elements are designed to reduce drag.
Interior features
The cabin focuses on comfort and technology, with seven seats, a 2.39-square-metre panoramic sunroof and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. Other highlights include:

- A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 26-inch head-up display.
- Google Built-in with Maps, Assistant, and Play Store.
- An integrated refrigerator that can cool or heat its contents.
- Heated, ventilated and massaging seats in the first two rows.
- Tri-zone climate control and a 21-speaker DiSound audio system in the Excellence variant.
Boot capacity stands at 270 litres with all three rows in use. Folding the second and third rows increases it to 1,960 litres, with an additional 136-litre front storage compartment.
Two Powertrain Options
The ATTO 8 will be offered in two configurations. The Design RWD produces 462 hp, while the Excellence AWD delivers 775 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
Both use BYD’s second-generation 115 kWh Blade battery. The claimed WLTP range is up to 653 km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 602 km for the all-wheel-drive model.
