Porsche Turns Toy Story Icons into Real 911s Ahead of Toy Story 5

Porsche and Pixar have teamed up once again to create a trio of unique one-off 911s inspired by some of Toy Story’s most beloved characters.

Following the success of the 911 Sally Special from the Cars franchise, the two brands have now transformed Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear into real-life Porsche sports cars ahead of the release of Toy Story 5.

Key Highlights:

  • Porsche and Pixar reveal three Toy Story-inspired 911s
  • Cars based on Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear
  • Built by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch bespoke division
  • More than 350 hours spent hand-finishing each car
  • All three cars will be auctioned for charity

Woody Gets A Custom 911 Carrera T

Woody’s tribute car is based on the Porsche 911 Carrera T and features a unique denim-inspired blue paint finish that mimics the cowboy’s iconic jeans.

Porsche says its Sonderwunsch team used real denim fabric pressed into wet paint to create the textured finish, marking a first for the company. The car also features sheriff-badge-inspired wheels, gold accents, and a cabin trimmed with vintage-style brown leather and yellow inserts, inspired by Woody’s signature outfit.

Jessie Gets A 911 Targa 4 GTS

Jessie’s interpretation takes the form of a 911 Targa 4 GTS finished in a bespoke white metallic paint scheme with yellow, blue, and red accents inspired by the cowgirl’s costume.

The cabin continues the theme with denim-style seat inserts, red stitching, and floor mats featuring a cowhide pattern. Porsche has even replaced the traditional Targa script with Jessie’s name.

Buzz Lightyear Gets A 911 GT RS

Arguably the most dramatic of the three, Buzz Lightyear’s tribute car is based on the track-focused 911 GT3 RS with the Weissach Package.

Finished in white with green and purple accents mirroring Buzz’s famous spacesuit, the GT3 RS also receives a rear wing designed to resemble the Space Ranger’s deployable wings. The bonnet features Buzz’s name tag and Space Ranger graphics, while the cabin carries matching colour accents throughout.

For A Good Cause

Unlike many one-off show cars, these three creations will be sold together, with the money benefiting three charities: Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

For Porsche and Pixar, it’s another successful collaboration that blends automotive craftsmanship with pop-culture nostalgia.
